CANCELLED! Legislative Town Hall Meeting: All about the budget!
I regret to inform you that the town hall meeting this coming Saturday, April 20, is cancelled. The Colorado State Representatives in the House have been informed that they will be called into session this Saturday. It is possible that the State Senate will also be called into session this weekend as well. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you at our next town hall meeting on Saturday, May 18.
Legislative Town Hall Meeting: Investing in Education
Please join Sen. Rachel Zenzinger and Rep. Brianna Titone for a legislative town hall meeting on the State of Education in Colorado. We will be joined by several guests who will discuss education funding, the School Finance Act, and other issues related to our schools. The event will take place on Saturday, March 16 at 10:30 am at the Indian Tree Golf Course. See you there!
What's Brewing at the Capitol?
Please join us for a casual conversation in a relaxed setting over a pint of your favorite craft beer. This month Odyssey Beerwerks will be our hosts, and YOU will set the agenda.
Odyssey is 21+ Only, and they do not allow children in the Taproom (nor on the patio), so if you are younger, or have kiddos in tow, you should watch for our next Coffee with Constituents!

On Saturday, Feb 17, please join Rep. Lindsey Daugherty (HD 24), Rep. Brianna Titone (HD 27), Rep. Shannon Bird (HD 29), and Sen. Rachel Zenzinger (SD 19) for a Legislative Town Hall. This month, we'll focus on two primary topics:

Our special guests will include Dr. Ricky Dhaliwal, MD, an emergency care physician, and representatives from the Colorado Children's Campaign & Healthier Colorado.
Together, we will explore existing challenges facing youth and families across the state, as well as progress and potential solutions to build brighter futures.
Legislative Town Hall Meeting: Session Preview

Legislative Town Hall Meeting: School Board Candidate Forum
Join legislators Sen. Rachel Zenzinger, Rep. Shannon Bird, Rep. Lindsey Daugherty, and Rep. Brianna Titone on Saturday, October 21 for our regular monthly town hall. This month we are hosting a forum featuring school board candidates for the Jeffco Public Schools Board and the Adams 12 Board of Directors. This informational forum will offer voters an opportunity to learn more about the candidates and their positions.
Legislative Town Hall Meeting: 2023 Ballot Issues Prop HH and Prop II
Election season is upon us! Please join us on Saturday, September 16 at 10:30 am for our regular monthly town hall meeting featuring guest speakers who will discuss the two statewide ballot measures that will be on your ballot this November: Proposition HH and Proposition II.
Legislative Town Hall Meeting: Early Childhood Education & Universal Preschool
Join us on Saturday, August 19 for our regular monthly town hall meeting. In August, we will hear from Dr. Lisa Roy, Executive Director of the new Department of Early Childhood. She will discuss the new Department of Early Childhood, as well as the Universal Preschool program launching this fall. State Board of Education member, Karla Esser, will also be joining us. We will meet at 10:30 am at the Standley Lake Library, 8485 Kipling St, Arvada, CO 80005.
Legislative Town Hall Meeting: All Things Water
Join Sen. Rachel Zenzinger, Reps. Daugherty, Bird, and Titone for our regular monthly town hall meeting on Saturday, July 15. We will be focusing on the topic of water. We have invited a number of issue experts to discuss the Colorado River Compact, recent Colorado laws, our water infrastructure basics, and the impact of climate change and drought to our water supply in Colorado. We will meet at 10:30 am in the Community Room at Standley Lake Library.

The legislative session will end on May 8, so we will be presenting a legislative wrap-up on the session. Come hear about the bills that passed (or didn’t) and what we accomplished. Representative Dafna Michaelson-Jenet to speak on youth mental health services (iMatter and new bills)
Representative David Ortiz to speak on services for veterans and disabled (and new bills)

Legislative Town Hall Meeting: Colorado's Budget
You are invited to join legislators Sen. Zenzinger, Rep. Bird, Rep. Titone and Rep. Daugherty for our monthly town hall meeting. This month we will be focussing on the Colorado State Budget. Hear from experts on topics ranging from the budget forecast, TABOR, taxes, school finance and more! Special guests include experts from the Colorado Fiscal Institute, as well as the Chair and Vice Chair of Colorado’s Joint Budget Committee, Senator Rachel Zenzinger and Representative Shannon Bird.

For constituents who prefer a more relaxed setting, we are resuming our monthly ‘Brewing’ event where constituents can hang out and chat about what’s on your mind while sipping a craft beer. For the early morning risers, Sen. Zenzinger hosts a ‘Coffee with Constituents’ meeting where constituents share with the Senator their thoughts, questions, or ideas.

Legislative Town Hall Meeting
Once a month, Sen. Zenzinger hosts a legislative town hall meeting along with Representative Brianna Titone (HD 27), Representative Lindsey Daugherty (HD 24), and Representative Shannon Bird (HD 29). These meetings feature a guest speaker or panel of experts on a different topic related to state government.
When: Third Saturday of the month from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Where: For the months of February, March and April we will meet at the Indian Tree Golf Course Club House, 7555 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003
What’s Brewing at the Capitol?
For constituents who prefer a more relaxed setting, Sen. Zenzinger hosts a monthly ‘Brewing’ event where constituents can hang out and chat with the Senator about what’s on their mind while sipping a craft beer produced by a local brewery in the district.
